About cookies.

This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used by the current Kildare Carpets & Flooring website. Cookies are small files stored on your device. Local storage and session storage can also remember information in your browser.

Session storage is associated with a browser tab or session. Persistent cookies and local storage can remain until they expire or you remove them.

What the website uses.

Our current website uses WordPress and Elementor to display pages and provide enquiry forms. The visitor checks carried out on 12 October 2026 identified the following functional storage:

  • wpEmojiSettingsSupports — WordPress session storage: remembers whether your browser can display certain emoji characters. It contains browser display-test results and is held for the browser session.
  • wordpress_test_cookie — WordPress cookie: checks whether your browser accepts cookies when you visit the WordPress login page. It is a session cookie and relates to login functionality, rather than ordinary enquiries.

Authorised staff who sign in to WordPress may receive additional authentication and administration-preference cookies. These are separate from browsing the public website.

Analytics and advertising.

Analytics and advertising are separate optional choices. Accept all enables both. Under Customise you can choose either, both or neither. Until you save a choice, neither the Google Analytics tag nor the Meta Pixel loads. A saved choice is held in kcf_consent_v2 browser storage. Earlier analytics-only choices are not treated as permission for advertising, so visitors with an earlier choice are asked again.

With analytics enabled, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand page visits, brochure interest, clicks to call or email, form starts and successful enquiry-form submissions. We do not deliberately send your name, phone number, email address or form answers to Analytics. Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_* first-party cookies.

With advertising enabled, the Kildare Carpets & Flooring Meta Pixel records page views and successful enquiry submissions to help measure our Meta advertising. It does not record a Lead merely because someone presses a button. Meta may set _fbp and _fbc cookies and receive browser, page and ad-click information. Meta’s automatic advanced matching is enabled for this business Pixel, so contact details entered on the site may be hashed and sent to Meta for matching when advertising is allowed. See Meta’s Privacy Policy. HubSpot is used as our CRM for enquiry and customer records, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

You can change your choices at any time using the Change cookie choice button near the top of this page. Withdrawing a choice stops that tag from loading on subsequent page views; we also attempt to remove its first-party cookies from this site and reload the page. Browser settings can remove cookies at any time. The Cookie Policy link is available in the website footer.

Fonts, media and external links.

The website loads fonts from Google Fonts. This sends a request to Google’s servers, which can receive technical connection information such as your IP address and browser details. A connection to an external service is distinct from placing a cookie on your device. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

Our social media links take you to Instagram, TikTok or Facebook. Google review links also take you to Google. Those services apply their own cookie and privacy policies when you visit them.

Our current video content is presented through the website’s video player rather than an embedded social media feed. New external video players, maps or other embedded services will require a fresh cookie review before activation.

Managing browser storage.

You can review, block or delete cookies and site data through your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking cookies or storage needed for particular functions may affect those functions. Clearing browser data can also remove saved preferences.

For guidance, use your browser’s Help menu or its Privacy and Security settings. Browser privacy features may also restrict third-party cookies independently of our website.

Contact and updates.

For questions about this policy, contact info@kcf.ie. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and your rights.

We will review this policy when the website’s technologies change. The date above identifies the latest update.
