Kildare Carpets & Flooring · Celbridge
Good advice.
A floor that feels right.
The most useful starting point is your home: how you live in it, what you love about it and what you want to change.
Discuss your project
Start with the room
Choose for the way you live.
A bedroom, a busy entrance and an open living space ask different things of a floor. Consider foot traffic, children, pets, outside access and how you prefer to clean. Then think about the atmosphere: restful and soft, warm and natural, or crisp and practical.
Our carpet, wood flooring, laminate and vinyl pages introduce the options. Suitability comes from the selected product’s specification, not simply its category name.
Colour and texture
Build a palette that belongs together.
View flooring alongside your paint, joinery and upholstery. A small sample can look different across a whole room, and daylight changes how colour and texture read. Bring photographs and fabric or paint references to your showroom visit.
If you are choosing for adjoining rooms, consider transitions as part of the scheme. A hallway floor and a stair runner can share a tone without matching exactly; a border or metal detail can carry an accent between them. See our project photographs for inspiration.

Beneath the surface
Preparation deserves a place in the plan.
The substrate must suit the chosen installation. Moisture, movement, unevenness and the finished floor height can influence preparation and fitting. Share details of new screeds, existing coverings or underfloor heating before ordering.
Carpet underlay and hard-floor underlays are not interchangeable. Where heating is present, the complete floor build-up must meet the relevant manufacturers’ limits. Our fitting service begins with understanding the work required.
Before you confirm
Compare the whole quotation.
Ask what is included: material quantities, preparation, underlay where applicable, fitting, thresholds, trims, uplift and disposal. Confirm responsibilities for furniture, access and room clearance, together with the expected schedule.
Keep the product specification, agreed scope and care instructions together. They will help you understand how to look after the finished floor and what warranty conditions apply. Arrange free measuring and a quotation when you are ready.
